Our Youth Programs are designed to inspire and equip young individuals with the skills they need to thrive. Through engaging activities and mentorship, we aim to foster leadership and community involvement.

I enjoy coming to talk with staff and tell and hear jokes and facts. I also like the food that is offered at the program and the games we get to play are fun. The room is also not as loud and crowded as outside.

Youth Programs

Full-Circle

Our Preteen and Youth Services are designed to involve a young person throughout their development from their preteen to adolescence. Preteens can start participating in weekly after school programs at 10 years old, or be part of our Grade 7s transition preparation. Throughout high school, they can access a range of skills development programs and leadership opportunities to eventually become a youth leader in the community. Even in post-secondary, youth can continue their participation in various leadership capacities.

Preteen Program

For youth ages 10-14 with priority given to newcomer youth (Convention Refugees, Privately Sponsored Refugees, Permanent Residents)

Youth Small Grants

For ages 15-30 who identify as BIPOC, disabled, 2SLGBTQIA+, newcomer, and/or low income

Youth Leadership Group

For newcomer youth ages 10-18

Youth Skills for Climate Justice

For BIPOC youth ages 15-30
