The Sprouts have been suggesting to sit and pause in certain spots in our neighbourhood - especially on Nanaimo street, to stay and watch cars and neighbours go by. It was quite a powerful moment of sitting with a strong presence and almost like demanding to be seen. It led me to think about young children being seen in public spaces.
We have also been intentional and deliberate to explore the different businesses along Nanaimo and forming genuine relationships with our neighbours.
