The Association of Neighbourhood Houses of BC, the parent organization of Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House, has launched a campaign to protect $10 a day childcare.
Affordable childcare is essential for families across BC. We believe everyone including children, families, and educators have something to contribute, and that caring for one another strengthens our communities. Universal child care is at the heart of this vision.
Governments committed to reducing child care fees to an average of $10/day and cutting costs by 50% but many families are still facing high fees and limited access.
Without sustained investment, these commitments are at risk and families will continue to struggle.
