Throughout the year, Frog Hollow hosts and participates in special events that honour important days and movements connected to Indigenous communities, histories and ongoing calls for justice.

At our Neighbourhood House, we may host gatherings to recognize occasions such as National Indigenous Peoples Day and Orange Shirt Day, creating opportunities for community members to come together, learn, reflect and build relationships.

We also join Indigenous-led and community partner events, such as the MMIWG Annual Women’s Memorial March and gatherings for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. On other important days, including Red Dress Day, we may create educational displays and learning stations to encourage public awareness and deeper understanding.

These activities are part of our ongoing commitment to learning, relationship-building, truth and reconciliation, and walking alongside Indigenous communities throughout the year.
