Information Referral and Advocacy Services for Older Adults in Hastings Sunrise
Provides information and referral, advocacy, and form completion assistance to older adults ages 50 and over. Services include one-to-one support in navigating public systems such as federal and provincial benefits, housing, transportation, health, and employment. Also makes referrals and provides advocacy regarding community services and health resources. Services offered in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Translation may be available for other languages depending on volunteer availability.
Serves the Hastings-Sunrise neighbourhood of Vancouver (east of Nanaimo Street to Boundary Road, and north of East Broadway to the Burrard Inlet).
