Dear Families and Friends,

We’re excited to launch a Donation Drive to support essential HVAC system upgrades at Frog Hollow Children’s Centres. These upgrades are vital to ensuring safe, comfortable, and climate-resilient environments for the children and educators in our care.

We’re asking all Frog Hollow families and supporters to consider donating — any amount makes a difference!

Online Donations: Visit www.froghollow.bc.ca/donate

Please note “Children’s Centres HVAC systems” in your donation.

Offline Donations: Email jasmine@froghollow.bc.ca to arrange a cheque or cash drop-off.

Tax Receipts: Available for donations over $25.

If we exceed our goal, extra funds will go toward shade-producing equipment at our Village and Satellite Daycare sites, another step toward creating safe, nurturing spaces for our children.

OUR GOAL: $40,000 CAD

HVAC SYSTEM INSTALLATION AT OUR FROG HOLLOW MAIN SITE’S PRESCHOOL AND KIDS WORLD SCHOOL AGE PROGRAMS:

Frog Hollow Main Site houses 111 spaces for children 3–12 years old, including our Nootka children who attend during the winter, spring, and summer breaks.

Cost breakdown: Estimated at $130,900: $105,000 for system, $14,000 for consulting engineering firm, drawings, and permits, $11,900 contingency costs.

In December, we were approved for a grant of $100,000. We hope to secure donations for the remainder, and Frog Hollow would step in and use its reserve funds.
