Dear Community Member,
We are seeking community support for our 2022 Frog Hollow Holiday Hamper Program. For nearly two decades, we have provided support and much-needed cheer to at least 40 families in our community each holiday season. Last year we were able to support 60 families.
Since 2009, we have seen increasing challenges for a wide spectrum of our community members. This includes a general increase in the number of families and new immigrant families in need of support (food, clothing, and access to services) as well as annual increases in the number of families experiencing more significant barriers especially during our current restricted times due to Covid.
More specifically, we have seen an increase in the number of adults and children experiencing poverty. We regularly provide food bank, bread and produce to low-income families in our area, and we have a long waiting list for this program.
Many people are the working poor, while others are not able to work because of disabilities or other issues. Some are in very tenuous situations and are on the verge of homelessness
*An example of the kind of support we are seeking is if a Family is the size of 2 to 3 members, they would receive a $75 gift card, or a Family Size of 4 to 5 would receive a $100 gift card. Any donation would help the families.

WHEN?
We accept donations from now until December 9th, 2022 – in time for Holiday Hamper distribution. Any donations made after this point will go directly to providing emergency food to families over the months of December and January.

- All Donations of any kind (with a value of $25 or above) dropped off at Frog Hollow will receive a tax receipt. Drop off: 10:00 AM -3:00 PM, Mondays to Fridays
