Youth Employment Counsellor

The Youth Employment Counsellor collaborates with a high-energy, client-focused team to deliver exceptional youth employment services in Northeast Vancouver. Working out of Drive Youth Employment Services (2106 Commercial Drive), a satellite program of Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House, the Youth Employment Counsellor supports youth aged 16-30 to achieve employment goals under the WorkBC Employment Services model. This is a full-time position (35 hours per week) with excellent benefits.

‘YES CHEF’ Coordinator (Internal)

The ‘YES CHEF!’ Program Coordinator collaborates with a high-energy, client-focused team to deliver exceptional employment and settlement services for local newcomer youth in an exciting cooking and baking program aimed at strengthening community connection, improving employability, and preventing food waste. The ‘YES CHEF!’ Coordinator is responsible for planning, operating, and evaluating this program, together with a Youth Programmer. This permanent part time position reports to the Youth Settlement Coordinator and requires a combination of in-person work at Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House, Sunrise Welcome Place, and in the community.

Infant Toddler/Early Childhood Educator (Floater), Frog Hollow Neighbourhood Neighbourhood House

About the Position
The Infant Toddler/Early Childhood Educator Floater position is responsible for the provision of an early learning and care program that fosters a positive, and emergent learning environment with a focus on the social and emotional well being of all children. We are an inclusive, multicultural, dynamic and collaborative child care setting which includes working with other educators to plan and implement a progressive and innovative program inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, BC Early Learning Framework in concert with the values of FHNH. Other responsibilities include developing strong and collaborative relationships and communication with children, families, and colleagues. This position will work both in the Toddler and 3-5 programs at Satellite as program need arises.
