‘Make It’ is a therapeutic art program run from Drive Youth Employment Services (a satellite of Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House) for youth aged 16-30 who are impacted by mental health challenges. The program consists of weekly drop-in ‘open studios’ where youth can create art in a supportive environment. In line with COVID-19 measures, this program operates virtually and in person. Details of blended service delivery will be determined by the ‘Make It’ Program Coordinator in collaboration with the ‘Make It’ Art Therapist and D-YES Coordinator.
Youth Job Developer
The Youth Job Developer collaborates with a high-energy, client-focused team to deliver exceptional youth employment services in Northeast Vancouver. Working out of Drive Youth Employment Services (2106 Commercial Drive), a satellite program of Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House, the Youth Job Developer supports youth aged 16-30 to achieve employment goals under the WorkBC Employment Services model.
Youth Settlement Workder
The Youth Settlement Worker works within a high-energy, collaborative team to provide a variety of social, recreational and skill development activities to newcomer youth.
Childcare Administration Assistant
The Childcare Admin Assistant will be key in assisting the Child Care Leaders Team with administrative duties. The role will be responsible for ensuring the effective development, and implementation of a variety of childcare related administrative activities, under the direction of the Children’s Centres Director.
Newcomer Employment Specialist
The Newcomer Employment Specialist provides support to immigrants and refugees to overcome language & cultural barriers, acquire occupational skills and certifications to participate the Canadian labour market for the first time.
