Mural Artist

‘Make It’ is a therapeutic art program run from Drive Youth Employment Services (a satellite of Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House) for youth aged 16-30 who are impacted by mental health challenges. The program consists of weekly drop-in ‘open studios’ where youth can create art in a supportive environment. In line with COVID-19 measures, this program operates virtually and in person. Details of blended service delivery will be determined by the ‘Make It’ Program Coordinator in collaboration with the ‘Make It’ Art Therapist and D-YES Coordinator.

Working out of Drive Youth Employment Services (2106 Commercial Drive), a satellite program of Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House, the Youth Job Developer supports youth aged 16-30 to achieve employment goals under the WorkBC Employment Services model.

Infant/Toddler Program Assistant Team Lead/Team Lead

Newcomer Youth Coordinator (maternity leave coverage)

The Newcomer Youth Coordinator collaborates with a high-energy, client-focused team to deliver exceptional employment and settlement services for local newcomer youth in an exciting cooking and baking program aimed at strengthening community connection, improving employability, and preventing food waste. The Newcomer Youth Coordinator is responsible for planning, operating, and evaluating this program. This position reports to the Coordinator of Drive Youth Employment Services. This is a fixed term, part time maternity leave coverage starting January 31, 2022, until March 31st, 2022, with possibility of extension. Hours for this position are negotiable, at a minimum of 23.5 per week.
