No matter where you are from or how long it has been since you arrived in Canada, we welcome all newcomers to access support services and community involvement opportunities here at Frog Hollow. Our programs are designed to help you successfully navigate the stages towards citizenship and further on, for your longterm wellbeing and participation in society.
Youth Settlement Services
Youth Settlement Program offers newcomer youth who are new to Canada a safe place to learn about Canadian culture, their community, and practice their English. The program runs from Tuesday to Saturday for ages 10-30 years old. (More program details please see below)
Due to office closure during the COVID-19 pandemic, the one-to-one youth settlement service is available through appointments for either in-person or virtually (such as phone, email, Instagram, and WhatsApp) Arabic speaking youth workers available online/distance.

Saturday Youth Group
Saturday Youth Group is for youth ages 10-18 year old
Join our Saturdays Youth Leadership Program and participate in different in person and safe activities and workshops. We will be doing out trips, hikes, cooking sessions, martial arts and much more!
Program begins Saturday, September 19th @Frog Hollow Neighborhood House from 1:00pm-5:00pm
*Please note that this program is for youth 10-18 years old and are a permanent resident of Canada.
The Welcome Circle in partnership with Vancouver School Board SWIS workers provides a safe space for newcomer youth and refugees, grades 8-12, to learn new life skills, build self-esteem and connect with the community. This program is running virtually on Fridays 11:30am-12:00pm.

Preteen Program is an after school program for newcomer youth ages 10-14 years old (Wed, Thu & Fri).
We have a fun cycle planned for all our Preteens, which includes In the Kitchen Wednesdays, Virtual Game Days, Arts and Crafts, Workshops, Mock Elections, and Out-trips.
Our sessions run after school, on Wednesdays (In-person), Thursdays (Virtual) and Fridays (In-person): 3:30pm –6:00pm
The Fall Cycle will be begin September 23rd @ Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House from 3:30pm-6:00pm
Your safety is our main priority and we are maintaining safety guidelines outlined by Work Safe BC for all our programming sessions.
