New Media Services
Frog Hollow is in the process of developing some new programs based around new media services. Programs such as:
- Youth Documentary Project: A partnership between Frog Hollow and local highschool students where the students get to learn about and create a documentary.
- Photography: This past October was the first year that both the Frog Hollow Pre-School and Daycare had their annual pictures taken in house. Thanks to help given by professional photographers from local business Gamma Pro we were able to rent the equipment neccessary to undertake this endeavour. As usual the first year went through some growing pains, mostly due to time issues, not quality, however we will see what this year brings.
- Online Communities: Since February 24, 2004 Frog Hollow has been running 3 seperate Online Communities with Children's Programs from across the province and Frog Hollow Staff and some Volunteers have been able to take advantage of. An Online Community is: a group of people who interact via Internet Web sites, chat rooms, newsgroups, email, discussion boards or forums.
