The East Vancouver Neighbourhood Small Grants Project is offered through Cedar Cottage, Frog Hollow and Kiwassa Neighbourhood Houses.
Applications have been finalized for 2010.

What is the Neighbourhood Small Grants Project?
The Residents’ Committee of Cedar
Cottage, Frog Hollow and Kiwassa
Neighbourhood Houses believe that all
neighbourhoods can be vibrant and
safe places for the people who live
there. One way to strengthen
neighbourhoods is to build on the
capacity of residents.
The Neighbourhood Small Grants
Project is funded by the Vancouver
Foundation in order to support
residents to initiate activities in their
communities for the benefit of local
people.
These activities can include carrying
out physical improvements (boulevard
gardens, wall murals), creating
solutions to social problems (noise
impact study, “clean up” signs), or
developing new relationships (block
parties, community gardens).
Grant Money of up to $500 per project
may be awarded to groups of two or
more residents.
