FamilyResources and ReferralsFamily Programs offers a number of resource and referral services. Staff team members are able to provide families with information about places and people in the community who may be able help in the everyday challenges involved in raising a growing family. These services are available in a number of languages including English, Mandarin and Cantonese. Written information is also available in different languages. Families may borrow books and videos from the children and parent libraries. Languages include English, Chinese, Vietnamese and French. Families can also borrow toys from the Toy Lending Library. Information about community activities, clubs, classes and services is available on request. Family Program staff keeps an up to date resource binder that is available to parents. Frog Hollow works closely with Evergreen Community Health Centre. Families with questions or concerns regarding health or support services can be referred to the Health Centre. |
