FamilyParent Training CoursesParent Training courses are offered once a month during the regular Family Drop-in. Topics include: Healthy Nutrition, Child Development, Safety, and Positive Parenting. For a list of topics and dates please see the program flyer. During the year courses such as Basic First Aid and Food Safe are also offered. Every February, Frog Hollow and its partners Kiwassa Neighbourhood House, Thunderbird Community Centre and Collingwood Neighbourhood Houses hold a Parent Conference. This day long conference includes training sessions for parents, free child minding and a hot meal. For information about parent training courses please contact the Family Programs staff. |
