Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House

Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House together with dedicated and creative community members published a book titled: “THIS IS COMPASSION!” 

The Dalai Lama’s dialogue with high school students in 2006 was the catalyst for starting a conversation with British Columbia’s youth – a conversation about compassion.  The students had been invited to submit stories about their experience with compassion and the results were astounding.  With the support of Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House, the Dalai Lama Centre for Peace and Education and the Vancouver School Board, the Stories of Compassion Project was initiated and over 300 stories and artwork from 38 schools were received.  A selection of those stories and artwork are presented in the poignant and inspiring, “THIS IS COMPASSION!”
