Pre-School

Frog Hollow Preschool program is a licensed facility with qualified and certified Early Childhood Educators. We provide quality childcare with your child's best interest in mind.  Given the many cultures of the Frog Hollow neighbourhood, we are committed to providing a program, which reflects this diversity by encouraging participation of all groups, and by facilitating the integration of all participants into the community.

Our goal is to provide children with a valuable and rewarding social, recreational, cultural and educational experience.  We subscribe to a philosophy of multicultural early childhood education.  We believe children learn through play.  As a child explores their world, he/she gathers information about her/himself and his/her world.  We provide an environment, which encourages physical, cognitive, social, cultural and emotional development.  Children develop at their own pace and appropriate level.  In an atmosphere of respect, acceptance, and encouragement, children are able to develop to their full ability.  We provide creative, process-oriented, play-based learning activities.  We guide and ensure the safety and well being of each child.  We believe that parent involvement is extremely beneficial in reaching our goal to creating a quality environment for the children and families that we serve.  We value inclusiveness, multiculturalism, interdependence, and dignity of all children and their families.

Description of activities:

  •       Circle time – introduction to the day, learning about the calendar (days of the week, months of the year and weather), promoting group skills, concept learning, music & movement and literacy.

  •       Free play and Creative Activities – promoting appropriate growth, development and socialization through play.

  •       Clean up – promoting co-operation and working together.

  •       Snack time – healthy snack provided by parents to help promote healthy eating habits.

  •       Outdoor Play- providing gross motor activities

Preschool Sessions Offered are as follows:

Mon/Wed/Fri Mornings 9:00am-11:30am $218.00/month
Mon/Wed/Fri Afternoon 1:00pm-3:30pm $218.00/month
Monday-Friday Mornings 8:30am-12:30pm
 $305.00/month

*An additional $30 non-refundable registration fee and $2 membership is required upon registration.
