At Frog Hollow Satellite Daycare, we aim to provide an educational and nurturing environment. Toddlers are given the opportunity to connect with the world around them and make their own symbolic meaning as they explore their curiosity and heighten their hunger to learn. Our Toddler program is play focused and responsive to the physical, intellectual, social, emotional and creative needs of each child. Through play; toddlers are putting into practice important learning skills and at the same time expanding on their brain development in critical thinking. This part of play is vital for optimum growth in toddlers. As toddlers are exploring, teachers are engaged in capturing their ordinary moments and precise experiences by using various media. Reflection of those moment and experiences can be seen visually through toddlers art projects, photograph, video and auditorial recording. We hope some day to meet you and your little one and create many new memories here together.
Schedule & Price
Hours of operation: Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
We open year round excluding statutory holidays, including Easter Monday and Boxing Day and we close earlier on Christmas Eve and New Year Eve. Our centre also closes five days per year to accommodate staff development and programming.
Full Time – Monday to Friday
- Hours per day: 8h
- Monthly fee: $1010.00
- Additional hours of care is available for an extra fees. It works out to be $20 for every 15 minutes of care per month
Part Time: 3 days per week (limited space available)
- Hours per day: 8h
- Monthly fee: $710.00
Part Time: 2 days per week (limited space available)
- Hours per day: 8h
- Monthly fee: $505.00

We give priority to child/children who are attending one of the child care programs at Frog Hollow Neighbourhoods and the employees. Second priority is for employeed of the Liquor Distribution Branch. Third priority is given to families who are government workers that offer free services to children from birth to 18 years.
