CAPC – Community Action Program for Children
The Community Action Program for Children or CAPC supports families with children from birth to six years old. We work with families to promote the health and well being of young children and infants. Our programs include fun and educational activities such as family drop -in programs, parent education courses, parent- led groups and information and referral services.
If you are interested in meeting other parents and becoming involved in helping with the CAPC program please join the FAST team!
Through partnership with other local organizations and neighbourhood houses, parents and staff get together once a month through the Families and Staff Team or FAST committee to decide on joint activities for families. If you would like to join the FAST committee and meet other parents to discuss programs and activities please contact Lea at 604-251-1225 ext 246. Our monthly meetings include a hot lunch and free child minding.
